Where is my sales and customer data stored, and who can see it?

Your data lives in an isolated workspace in our US-hosted Postgres. Only the operators you invite to your workspace can read it — Fryshift staff access it only with your written permission for support, and every staff read is logged. We never sell, share, or aggregate your sales or customer data with third parties, and you can export the full workspace at any time.

Does the app work when my truck is out of cell range?

Yes. The driver app caches the day’s route, inventory, and stops on the device, so you can take orders, mark sales, and record waste while offline. Everything queues locally and reconciles automatically the moment the truck reconnects — no double entries, no manual sync step at the end of service.

What happens when I move from one truck to a fleet?

Fryshift is built for fleets. Adding a second truck takes about a minute from the workspace dashboard — you clone the menu and supplier list, assign an operator, and the new truck is on its own route. Central purchasing, consolidated reporting, and per-truck P&L come online as soon as you have two or more trucks, so the workflow that worked for one truck scales without re-platforming.
